As you know, the third Sunday of May is widely celebrated as Mining and Metallurgical Workers' Day in our country.

According to an already established tradition, a large gala concert was held at the AMMC sports complex with the participation of Uzbek popular music stars, dedicated to the professional holiday of miners and metallurgists.

During the event, the congratulations of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the workforce of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine were read out.

Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” Abdulla Khursanov, speaking with a congratulatory speech, noted that the plant is developing from year to year, large investment projects are being implemented in full swing, and high production indicators are being achieved.

At the festive event, 18 leading production workers were awarded “Miners Glory” badges of various degrees. 43 employees were presented with AMMC Certificates of Honors, 35 employees were rewarded with valuable gifts.

In the artistic part of the event, the audience was surprised by the demonstration performances of the departmental paramilitary security officers of the AMMC. The performances of the Metallurg Palace of Culture and the Navruz dance ensemble gave everyone a festive mood.

Popular Uzbek popular music artists – Dilfuza Rakhimova, Iroda Iskandarova, Akhror Usmonov – performed as part of the concert program. The performances of popular stars among young people – Afruza and Khamdam Sobirov – were greeted with thunderous applause.

The song and video prepared by the Tashkent Regional Philharmonic, dedicated to the activities of the plant’s workers, received recognition.

The big gala concert ended with festive fireworks.
