The Almalyk MMC JSC is effectively implementing the Localization Program.

Its active participants are such enterprises as the central mechanical repair and zinc Complexs, the research and production association for the production of rare metals and hard alloys.

This year,137 projects under the Localization Program plan to produce localized products worth 321.7 billion soums.

Over the 9 months of 2023, it was replenished with 10 more new projects worth 36.1 billion soums, thus, the number of projects reached 147, and their projected value - 357.8 billion soums.

Within the framework of the Localization Program for January-September, for 145 projects, with a forecast of 266.5 billion soums, products worth 308.2 billion soums were actually produced, which amounted to 115.6%, the growth rate compared to the same period last year was 138.3% .

The efficiency of import substitution reached $26.7 million.

New projects included in the nine-month plan produced localized products worth 72.7 billion soums (forecast 61.8 billion soums). In particular, these are spare parts for various types of pumps, copper gutters, slings, palladium metal, spare parts for mine electric locomotives, molybdenum and tungsten salts, heat-resistant ceramic products, tungsten carbide, fireclay bricks, spherical bearings, spare parts for flotation machines. The production of such products as ferromolybdenum, geogrids, and linings made of polymer products has been mastered.

In addition, effective work is underway to develop new types of import-substituting products. To achieve this, the Complex management and department specialists regularly hold meetings with local manufacturers.

In particular, Almalyk Foundry and Mechanical Complex LLC, as part of a project worth $25 million, has begun the development of more than 40 types of foundry products with a production volume of 300 billion soums. The installation of equipment is currently being completed.

In addition, JV LLC “Deutsche Innovationen Technologie AMMC” established the production of various geocomposite, polymer and fiberglass products, pipes and tanks (32.4 billion soums).

Together with the company “Falk Porsche Technik” GmbH (Germany), the following projects are being implemented at the production site of LLC JV “Deutsche innovationen Technologie AMMC”:

the 1st stage of the project “Copper wire rod and a new type of cable products” will be launched with a capacity of 50,000 tons of copper processing and a project cost of $20 million, production volume - $450 million;

The project “Polymer concrete baths for the electrolysis of copper cathode” will organize the production of products for a new copper smelter. Its cost is $5 million, production volume is $24 million, capacity is 1,500 electrolysis baths.

Also, in cooperation with the ABM company (Germany), production has begun on the project “Digital centers for horizontal turning and milling”. The project cost is $2.2 million, production volume is 35 million euros, capacity is 80 sets of digital workshop centers.

Starting from 2024, Almalyk MMC JSC plans to implement the following projects:

1) together with the company“Fiberpipe” (Germany), it is planned to implement the “Chemical resistant fiberglass products” project worth $10 million, which will ensure the production of previously imported chemical resistant pipes, storage tanks and other products for the needs of the oil, gas and chemical industries;

2) together with the company “MENZEL” (Germany), the project “Production of new types of industrial electric motors” will be implemented worth $15 million for the production of previously imported electric motor products for the needs of industrial enterprises of the republic;

3) together with the company“Huigong Machinery Group” (China), it is planned to implement the project “Providing spare parts and servicing of mining dump trucks and special equipment” worth $25 million, which will allow the production of previously imported spare parts for special equipment of industrial enterprises of the republic.

In addition, through the implementation of the project “Construction of a new machine-building Complex”, the implementation of a project for the production of foundry products and spare parts with a total capacity of 55 thousand tons will begin.
