  • Specialists of Uzbek-Korean Scientific-Technological Center at Scientific Production Association for production of rare metals and hard alloys of the combine extracted 96.0 percent cobalt from tungsten-containing waste on the basis of new technology.
  • In cooperation with the Research Institute of Mineral Resources, a number of works were carried out in laboratory conditions, as a result of which the extraction of indium from the process solutions of the zinc plant was achieved using a new technology. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Inventions, Utility Models and Industrial Designs”, the Ministry of Justice issued a utility model patent for this invention.
  • The technology for the production of ferromolybdenum was introduced and put into operation for the first time at the Research and Production Association of Rare Metals and Hard Alloys.
  • The Rare Metals and Hard Alloys Research and Production Association managed to obtain molybdenum of 99.85% purity.
  • Specialists of the Rare Metals and Hard Alloys Research and Production Association obtained the first samples of vanadium. Research in this direction continues.
  • Scientists and specialists of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex obtained another patent for invention - a method of obtaining tungsten nanopowder for adding to hard alloys.
  • The development of AMMC scientists “Production and characteristics of bimetallic laminate target for sputtering on the basis of rare metals and copper”, presented at the 6th International Conference and Exhibition of Asian Powder Metallurgy “ARMA-2023” in Gyeongju (South Korea), became the winner among 115 other developments. Targets produced by this technology are used in the semiconductor industry.
