On June 21 of this year, the chairman of the board of Almalik Mining and Metallurgical Complex, Abdulla Khursanov, signed the order "On holding festive events at a high level within the framework of the “Youth Month" on the occasion of "June 30 - Youth Day".

According to the order, within the framework of the "Youth Month", the organizational committee formed to hold holiday events at a high level among the youth of the constituent units of “Olmaliq KMK” JSC, the program of measures for the celebration of this holiday and the list of active young people who will be awarded honorary degrees and valuable gifts on the occasion of the holiday were approved.

According to the program of holiday events which will be held among the youth of constituent units of "Olmaliq KMK" JSC as part of "Youth Month", on June 27, holiday events will be organized in the yard of "Metallurg" MS. A marathon, a gala concert and various entertainment programs are planned as part of the festive events.

Also, among the talented young people of the Complex, an event called "My most blooming youth" and spiritual and educational events will be held under the slogan "Spiritually mature young people are the foundation of the future".

The final stage of the "Best Young Leader-2023" contest and the "AMMC Youth Union Mobile Cup-2023" competition in the mini-football type of sport have also been scheduled.

"Zakovat" intellectual game festival between JSC "Olmaliq KMK" and the youth of Almalik city, which will be held under the slogan "Youth of Uzbekistan, let's unite" and the implementation of industrial excursions to similar enterprises in order to create an opportunity for young people to exchange experience in their field will undoubtedly make a great impression on young people.

A blood donation campaign under the slogan "Donate blood, let life continue in the world!" will be organized with the participation of young volunteers dedicated to "June 14 - World Donor Day".

In order to further strengthen the intellectual and creative potential of young people and their interest in reading fiction, "Young Reader-2023" competition among the youth of the complex and among the youth of the constituent units "Knower of the German language" contest in connection with naming "2023–  the year of attention to man and quality education" will be held.

On the occasion of the holiday, the houses of a group of selfless young people who has been happily contributing to the formation of a healthy environment among workers and who are active in production processes will be visited and their parents will be presented with letters of thanks. Seminars and trainings will be held in order to motivate the young people of the complex to follow successful people and take their place in society.

Seminars aimed at preventing family divorce, crime, delinquency and suicide among young people will be organized in all structural units of JSC "Olmaliq KMK" with the participation of representatives of the Civil Status Registry Office, the Internal affairs department, representatives of the religious office and a psychologist.

In addition, the festival of "Happies and clevers" among the youth of the complex is scheduled to be held in the program.

In order to motivate young people who are active in production processes and effectively work in the youth union system, "Youth Life", which is traditionally held at the "Moviy toglar" resort, is sure to make a great impression on young people.

In a word, Youth Day is widely celebrated in AMMC.

The Central Repair Mechanical Plant (CRMP) is a localization executor

The Central Repair Mechanical Plant with more than 2,000 workers is the main executor of the Localization Program at Almalik Mining and Metallurgical Complex. A total of 86 new types of products were developed in the enterprise within the framework of the Localization Program during 2018-2023 .

It is known that due to the increase in the production capacity of the complex, the demand for spare parts necessary for the technological equipment in the structural units is also increasing. In order to meet this demand and need, the area of the Mechanical Assembly Shop within the Central Repair Mechanical Plant was expanded. Mainly large-scale spare parts are produced here with the help of modern equipment gradually imported from abroad.

CRMP director Dilshod Sartibaev shared information about the plant's current activities, production lines, and general work carried out as the chief executor of the joint-scale localization program:

- It is worth mentioning that at the Central Repair Mechanical Plant, which prepares the orders of almost all departments of " Olmaliq KMK " JSC and has literally become an important link of the complex, 144.5 billion UZS worth of products were produced in 41 projects last year within the framework of the Localization Program. During the 5 months of this year, components worth 82 billion UZS were produced. This is 123 percent in percentage terms.

- Let's talk about the Foundry shop of the factory, which is an advanced and leader in terms of the localization program.

- The Foundry shop team is mastering the production of new products included in the Localization Program every year. For example, spare parts for caterpillar (steel chain) links of Krestovina R65, EKG 15 excavators, caterpillar links ( steel chain), EKG-10 excavator parts, PPN-1C loaders, etc.

Foundry production includes technological processes that ensure the production of casts of metals by pouring them into sand molds while being heated and melted. The main stages of foundry production are the preparation of batches and casting of metal, preparation of templates, extraction of casts, heat treatment and cleaning of the obtained casts. The Foundry shop provides its finished products to mines, beneficiation plants, factories, as well as iron-welding and mechanical-assembly shops owned by "Almalik KMK" JSC. The main types of casts produced by the workshop: 110G13L, 20L-40L steel, 35XML steel, SCh15 - SCh22 gray cast iron, corrosion-resistant cast iron 300X28N2, colored casts, copper smelting and "Gartbley" lead-antimony alloys for Copper smelting and zinc plants for production of sulfuric acid.

Behind the success of our factory, there is no doubt the role of our dedicated work team, which takes a serious approach to its work. In this regard, I would like to highlight the name of Shokhruhkhon Isokjonov, engineer-designer, leading engineer-designer Odil Rakhmatullaev, head of the design bureau Andrey Yefremov, head of the thermal section of tool making Shavkat Aytkulov, metal construction assembly plumber Davronbek Irmatov, electric gas welder Bakhrom Ismoilov and tool plumber Ozodbek Kodirov.

- We know that the plant is active not only in localization, but also in the implementation of rationalization proposals.

- Today, since the beginning of the year, more than 10 rationalization proposals have been put into practice by the plant. One example of this is to change the chemical properties of 110G13L steel, with the proposal of rationalization, we managed to increase the hardness of the components by 20%. It should be noted that savings were achieved, that is, this project brought a profit of 33 billion UZS.
