AMMC has launched production of a new type of product

15 July 2024, 8:25 1302

It is known that in recent years a number of promising projects have been implemented at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. Recently, another project was launched at the complex, which is of great importance for the jewelry industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Today, many jewelry enterprises in our country have the opportunity to purchase 999.9 fine gold bars weighing 5, 10, 20 and 50 grams.

Owing to the launch of a new project, the production of gold and silver in the form of granules has been arranged. Granular gold is used not only in the jewelry industry, but also in medicine, radio electronics, microelectronics, the chemical industry and the manufacture of measuring instruments.

Head of the gold and silver refining department Bakhrom Askarov at the copper smelting plant: “On the eve of the AMMC 75th anniversary of the establishment, the products to be produced within the framework of the project will provide jewelers with a number of opportunities. In particular, the Italian-made process equipment has been purchased necessary for the production of granular gold, silver and copper. It is worth noting that gold bars weighing from 50 to 1000 grams cause some inconvenience for jewelers during their work.

In jewelry production, the melting of ingots and other mechanical processing operations increase the loss, causing jewelers to incur losses. The gold and silver granules we offer will reduce the cost of jewelry, as well as improve the quality of products. In addition, the main requirement of leading manufacturers in the modern jewelry industry is also raw material in the form of granules”.

Along with this, AMMC specialists have launched the production of granular copper. After analyzing the market, the complex plans to produce granules from other non-ferrous metals as well.

Settlements with AMMC for the purchase of granular precious metals are made based on the latest morning fixing of the London Bullion Market Association and the rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The products to be manufactured according to the new project will certainly be in demand both in the domestic and foreign markets.
