15 March 2024, 12:32 1086

The role of science and innovation in the development of any enterprise is great. The introduction of the scientific achievements into practice and technical development are a requirement of the time. Joint-Stock Company “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex” is carrying out large-scale work in this field.

One of the methods of this multifaceted work is the organization of seminars, during which leading AMMC specialists study the latest technologies, which they plan to eventually introduce into production processes.

Thus, on March 13, 2024, the technology seminar was held on key technologies of the mining industry, such as flotation, gravity separation, grinding and high-pressure grinding roll technologies, organized by the management of AMMC with the assistance of specialists from FLSmidth, a global supplier of solutions in the field of engineering, equipment and services for customers in the mining and cement industries.

The agenda of the seminar included company presentations, including flotation technologies, the fundamental difference between flotation machines for high-intensity flotation and primary flotation, the technical possibility of combining flotation machines from different companies, as well as gravity concentrator technologies and grinding technologies.

The speakers were highly qualified engineers and direct developers of these technologies from the USA, Germany and Canada.

During the event, engineers, technical managers and specialists, supply managers of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex were able to ask all the questions they were interested in about the technologies used at the enterprise. The honorary guests of the event were students of the Almalyk Branch of NUST MISIS, who were able to expand their knowledge base.

Thus, the seminar contributes to the professional development of the AMMC team, whose specialists have acquired valuable knowledge and skills to improve work efficiency, helping them independently solve complex problems with greater confidence and competence.
