On October 19 of this year, a spiritual and educational event “Mother language is the soul of the nation” was held at the Metallurg Palace of Culture, organized in connection with the 34th anniversary of giving the Uzbek language the status of the state language.

On this significant date, the guests of the event were heartily congratulated by the Chairman of the Council of the Trade Union of AMMC Workers, Abdurashid Khaidarov, and a member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, poet Shodmonkul Salom.

Next, there was an award ceremony for the winners of the competitions “Reading Poems”, “Best Video”, “Zakovat”, held in connection with the holiday of the Uzbek language.

In particular, third place in the poetry reading competition was taken by Guzalkhon Zhuraeva (teacher of secondary school No. 22), second place by Nigora Sadirova (teacher of preschool No. 21 USO). The winner of the first place was Bunyod Khudoyberdiev (employee of the RMU TsRMZ).

Prize-winning places in the video competition were taken by teams of departmental paramilitary security, the training center and the Kalmakyr mine administration.

According to the results of the intellectual game “Zakovat”, the top three were the teams of the copper processing Complex, the Kalmakyr mine management and the road transport department.

During the event, amateur artistic groups of the Palace of Culture "Metallurg" performed, presenting theatrical scenes from the life and work of famous Uzbek writers, ancestors and our great ancestors, excerpts from the gazelles of Alisher Navoi and Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur.
