On May 31 of this year, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between National Researches and Technology University MISiS Almalyk branch and Zeppelin Central Asia Machinery (the official dealer of Caterpillar® in Uzbekistan).

It is known that Zeppelin Central Asia Machinery is the official dealer of the Caterpillar company in Uzbekistan and is also part of the German concern Zeppelin GmbH. This concern is the largest dealer of Caterpillar in the world.

Within the framework of the cooperation memorandum, it is planned to cooperate on education, science and professional development.

In addition, the issue of students' production practice at the enterprises where the Caterpillar company's equipment is used and service is provided was also discussed.

Also, it is planned to establish a scientific and educational center of the company "Caterpillar" in the Almalyk branch of the university. This center will be equipped with the latest equipment. In the center, practical and laboratory trainings are held for students in the field of mining and metallurgy. "Caterpillar" specialists are involved in the training sessions, and the world's best practices are used in the educational process.

For information, it can be said that the equipment of the "Caterpillar" company has been used in the structural units of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex for many years.
