The Localization Program is being effectively implemented at Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.
In particular, in the period from January to June of this, 255 projects produced products worth 837.5 billion UZ Soums, fulfillment of the forecast in this direction amounted to 103.1%. Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate rolling-stock +479.9 times, and the efficiency of import substitution reached 65.7 million USD.
Localized products worth 684.4 billion UZ Soums were produced under new projects.
Over the Reporting Period, products produced under the Localization Program were exported in the amount of USD 1.53 million.
In the context of enterprises where the Localization Program is being implemented: Central Repair and Mechanical Plant on 107 projects produced products worth 35.1 billion UZ Soums, Scientific and Production Association for the production of rare metals and hard alloys on 31 projects - 65.0 billion UZ Soums. For the copper smelter products for amount of 12.3 billion UZ Soums were produced.
Also, within the framework of construction of Copper Concentrator-3, metal structures worth 438.3 billion UZ Soums were produced, explosive materials plant produced goods worth 106.4 billion UZ Soums, 8 mechanical repair sites - worth 15.7 billion UZ Soums.
Along with this, within the framework of the program, the Intercon Rollers joint venture manufactured products worth 2.7 billion soums.
Due to industrial cooperation and the "take in tow" mechanism, products worth 635.2 billion soums were purchased from local manufacturers during the reporting period of the current year. The forecast in this area was fulfilled by 123%.
Fruitful work is also being carried out to develop the production of new types of import-substituting products. In particular, in order to develop previously imported products, “Almalyk Foundry and Mechanical Plant” LLC began production of more than 40 types of foundry products (300 billion UZS).
As part of the machine tool production project, the construction work of the Avantec joint venture has been completed. Currently, work is underway on the delivery and installation of equipment.
