“Kyzyl olma" mine area

26 October 2022, 12:22 1318

Angren Mining Department is one of the leading enterprises of "Almalyk MMC" JSC specializing in mining and ore processing based on the extraction of enriched concentrates. In 1966, when the Kochbulok mine, with a project capacity of 50,000 tons of ore mining, was handed over as an experimental enterprise, the mining department was founded. In 1975, in order to replenish the depleting reserves and increase the capacity of the mine to 200 thousand tons per year, the work of opening the reserves of the lower horizons of the "Slepoy-Kapitalny" shaft was started. In 1975, the Angren gold mine and gold refining factory were included in the "Ozolmosoltin" production association. The history of geological exploration of Kochbulok, Kyzil-Alma, Razvedochnaya, Samarchok, Samguron, Kairagoch mines and mines, which are currently operating in the Angren mine field, has gone through its own stages.

The Kochbuloq mine, which was the first to be operated within the Angren mining department, is located in the northern part of the Kurama mountain ranges and was discovered in 1959. During the 1960s and 2000s, exploration and further detailed exploration work was carried out in stages. was carried out. The mine was commissioned in 1974. To date, Central, Samarchok, Chumovuk, Levoberezhny and Mejdurechye, which have industrial reserves, have been explored in the mining area.

The main reserves of these sections are collected in the Central section. A total of more than 130 tons of gold reserves were explored in the area. Prospects of the field are high, half of the explored reserves belong to the S1 class and they are associated with very deep horizons. Three of the eleven ore bodies are 92% gold. It is on the basis of this mining area that since 2012 mining and mining operations have been started in shafts 3a and 25a in the "Uzun" section, and in shaft 17a since 2015. Another well-known mine of this mine is "Samguron" mine. A number of shafts explored in the 1990s by the Eastern Kurama Geological Exploration Expedition were handed over to Angren miners. In 1995, the operation of the "Gornaya" mine was launched, and it was later named "Samguron". By October 2002, Angren was incorporated into the Mines Authority as an abandoned mine with mining operations on a number of aquifer horizons. After a detailed assessment of the possibilities and reserves of the "Kayragoch" mine, which has been developed and considered as one of the promising mines of Kochbulok in recent years, by the scientific production association of the geology of non-ferrous metals, mine construction began in 2014. By December 2014, shafts 1 and 1a were handed over to the balance of the Angren Mining Department for the implementation of mining transition works. Long-term geological exploration and commissioning of new mines in the Kochbulok and Kyzyl-Olma mining areas made it possible to increase the annual production capacity of the Angren Mining Department to 700,000 tons. In our next article, we will publish the information on the geological explorations carried out in the "Samarchoq" and "Mezhdurechye" sections, which were launched this year on the basis of the Kyzil Olma mine. In conclusion, it should be noted that the ores of the Kochbulok mining area are complex and include copper, bismuth, selenium and tellurium in addition to gold and silver. Extraction of these satellite components from minerals to concentrate does not require additional costs. The main thing is that since 2012, the Angren Mining Department, which has been operating as part of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, has been actively building the underground mining sites "Samarchoq" and "Mejdurechye" on the basis of the Kyzil Alma mine based on the decisions of the head of our country. With the implementation of these investment projects, the minerals extracted from mines with an annual mining capacity of 120,000 and 100,000 tons will serve to increase the economic power of our country.
