In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 25, 2022 No. 473, measures are provided for the introduction of solar photovoltaic stations into the energy supply system of Almalyk MMC JSC for 2022-2026 with a total capacity of 25.2 million kW.
Work in this direction has also begun at the research and production association for the production of rare metals and hard alloys. The average monthly demand for electricity by this division of AMMC is 3.8 million kW/h.
In order to reduce electricity consumption in 2023, measures have been developed for the installation and implementation of solar photovoltaic stations in NPO divisions with a capacity of 3,100 kW with an electricity generation of 2,170 kW/h.
Currently, work is underway to install FES in all workshops and departments of the association. These works will be completed in September this year. It is also planned to install similar stations at the Ingichkinsky concentrating plant, located in the Samarkand region.
As a result of the implementation of solar power plants, monthly electricity consumption decreased by 1.56 million kW/h (41%), resulting in savings of 1.56 billion soums.
