On the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-76 "On measures for the effective organization of public administration in the field of digital technologies within the framework of administrative reforms" dated May 24, 2023, on May 7, the professional holiday of information and communication technology workers is celebrated in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has repeatedly noted the important role of information and communication technologies in the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan. And in this regard, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications has carried out large-scale and comprehensive work in various directions in recent years.

The development of information technologies and communications is the result of the work of many generations of scientists, engineers, technicians, programmers — all those whom fate has connected with the communications industry. Communication specialists make a huge contribution to the development of our country with their daily work!

As well as the specialists of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, who gathered together at the festive table on May 7. The heroes of the occasion were congratulated by Sadi Shermatov, the Deputy Chairman of the Board for Personnel and Social Affairs of “Almalyk MMC” JSC, and Ravshan Maksumov, the Acting Deputy Chairman of the Board for Digitalization of “Almalyk MMC” JSC.

On this day, the merits of the specialists were noted, thanks to whom the “Digital AMMC-2030” program is being successfully implemented at the combine. On the basis of the order of the Chairman of the Board of “Almalyk MMC” JSC A. Khursanov, particularly distinguished employees of the sphere were awarded the Certificates of Honor and valuable gifts.
