Yesterday, March 5, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a decree “On awards in connection with the International Women’s Day - March 8.”

According to the document, in order to demonstrate high estimation to the respected women of our country, increase their role and status in the life of the state and society, as well as worthy reward for fruitful work, rich experience and active participation in the process of implementing large-scale reforms, demonstrated initiative and example on the path to building New Uzbekistan, ensuring the growth of the well-being of our people, a great contribution to strengthening the spiritual and moral atmosphere in families, educating our youth in the spirit of love for the Motherland, respect for national and universal values, a group of women was awarded with the state awards.

It is worth noting that among the awardees there is also a worker of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex – the charge worker in the Waelz shop of the zinc plant, Sayyora Yuldashevna Kuchkarova, who was awarded the Shukhrat medal.
