During the visit to the company's head office, production plant and research center, AMMC representatives got acquainted with the company's new developments, digital technologies and solutions in the mining industry. In the course of negotiations with the vice-president of the company in the direction of the mining industry, an agreement was reached on joint cooperation.
“In the process of getting acquainted with the activities of the company, what attracted my attention most of all was that at present, more than 110 thousand people work in the field of Research and Development of the company and 25.1% (23.16 billion USD) of profit the enterprise is aimed specifically at R&D,” said Abdulla Azizov. “This means that it is time to stop copying from the leading developed companies, because they have already reached their level. It's time to take the lead. Similar research centers should be created in our country as well. We should apply the Chinese experience without any fear. Now we do not have an urgent need to create innovations, we first of all need to implement existing ones. It makes sense to direct forces to the invention of something new after the completion of several stages, the achievement of the formed infrastructure.”
