According to the decision of the President No PQ-3954 dated  September 30, 2018, a number of important works are being carried out in the structural units of the complex based on the program of reconstruction and stabilization of the main production capacity of "Almalyk MMC" JSC.

In particular, according to this program, the existing electrofilters in the Sulfuric acid shop of the Zinc plant were overhauled.

In particular,5 pieces of electrofilters branded PMKS-10, ShMK 168 in the shop were completely repaired during 2018-2020 years.

In addition, 6 pieces of refrigerators branded TPR-063Ti in the shop were updated during 2019-2020. The contactor 3 was completely overhauled and the productivity of sulfuric acid production was increased.

9 pieces of new pumps type AX-125 were installed. In this, the efficiency of the quality of sulfuric acid was further improved. The workshop No SK-6 is under construction.

As a result of the stabilization works carried out in the workshop, the volume of product production is increasing year by year. For example, in 2017 the workshop received 94,000 tons of products, and in 2022 this indicator was 111,111 tons. Another important point is that the amount of waste gases released into the environment and atmosphere has been drastically reduced. Also, green spaces are created in the area, giving the appearance of the Zinc Plant a special beauty. This includes the hard work of the employees of the sulfuric acid workshop. For example, during 2018-2019 years 10,295 tons of sulfur gases were released into the atmosphere, this figure was 5,318 tons in 2022, and it was 3,781 tons in 2023.
