To strengthen the country's industrial potential, especially in the mining and metallurgical industry, the most important factor is the modernization of infrastructure and technological processes. In this regard, the Government of Uzbekistan actively supports projects aimed at developing such key enterprises as the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex .
Thanks to the attention and support of the state, AMMC is able to implement large-scale projects that ensure an increase in capacity, efficiency and safety of production, as well as improved logistics.
In particular, based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4731 dated May 26, 2020, as well as within the framework of the investment project "Development of the Yoshlik I deposit", the large-scale projects in the field of railway infrastructure are being implemented, including the introduction of microprocessor interlocking and an axle counting system in the Industrial Railway Transport Department of the plant. These innovations not only optimize production processes, but also significantly increase the level of safety and accuracy in the operation of the railway infrastructure, which is especially important for ensuring the stability of freight transportation.
Today, AMMC and Trans Engineering Group, a company specializing in the design and implementation of engineering solutions for rail transport and industry, have established cooperation on the implementation of this system. This partnership allows combining the experience and resources of both parties, facilitating the prompt and high-quality implementation of new technologies. This approach demonstrates how important it is for large enterprises to attract reliable partners for the successful implementation of complex engineering solutions.
On October 29, 2024, Industrial Railway Transport Department specialists took part in testing the software of the microprocessor interlocking and axle counter system for the “Otvalnaya” station, the main purpose of which was to study this system and launch a program for routing the station before its installation.
The system complies with international standards and ensures complete digitalization of the railway station, timely delivery of goods, as well as the safety of train traffic. The implementation of such systems opens up new opportunities for automation and digitalization of processes, minimizing the human factor and creating more flexible and sustainable conditions for large-scale logistics operations.
This testing showed the high reliability and efficiency of the system.
