On the eve of every holiday, it has become a tradition to commission a number of social objects and new production facilities at the complex. On the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of our country, it is planned to put a new railway base into operation in the territory of the "Svinsovaya" station of the railway shop No 2 of the Industrial Railway Transport Department.
The construction work of this base began in 2021, and the construction work was carried out by "Almalykmetallurgqurilish" trust and the own forces of STTB.
The base includes a link assembly site and a car refueling station, as well as a depot for fuel and lubricants, and a wagon repair station.
The base which is located on an area of 4.47 hectares has a 1280 meters long railway track, 7 switchgears, 2 indoor buildings and administrative facilities.
Acting head of the 2nd TYS workshop Bekzod Haydarov informed that the newly established base has a number of facilities. In particular, in the past, there were various difficulties in conducting maneuvers in the area of such an old base, and it took a lot of time to complete a single maneuver. At the new base, the locomotives are easily maneuvered, which naturally leads to efficient use of locomotives and fuel savings. For example, there were a number of difficulties in timely delivery of technological equipment and cargo to the newly built 3rd copper enrichment plant. The reason for this was due to the fact that during the shunting, the locomotives entered the station territory and thereby blocked other roads. The new base completely eliminates these difficulties. In addition, it is very convenient to carry out repairs of wagons at this base. The reason is that a 50-ton crane is installed here, and with the help of it, the heavy spare parts and details of the wagons can be easily replaced. This not only improves the quality of work, saves time, but also creates many conveniences for employees. In order to protect the locomotives from the cold in cold weather, to prevent their spare parts and internal combustion engines from malfunctioning, 2 closed boxes were also built at the base, and these buildings allow saving 50 tons of fuel per year.
Also, the presence of a fuel station in the base area prevents excessive time spent in refueling locomotives, rolling stock and railway cranes. Before the construction of the base, all the above-mentioned equipment was supplied with fuel at the fuel stations under STTB, and this was inconvenient due to the long distance covered, long time consumption, and hindrance to the movement of technological equipment. It should be noted that the base has all the necessary conditions for the assembly of railway bars used in the construction of the railway.
An administrative and household building with all conditions was built for the employees working at the base, including a kitchen, a work distribution room, a washroom, and a dispatcher's room.
768 million sums of economic efficiency per year will be achieved as a result of commissioning of this facility. 29.3 billion sums were spent on the construction of the facility.
For reference: The labor team of the railway shop No. 2 carries out the transportation of ores from the Yellow Hill mine to the copper enrichment plant No 1 and 2. In addition, this shop's labor team also delivers household goods to the combine and for private entrepreneurs in Almalyk. This workshop is also responsible for exporting the finished products of the combine and transporting them to other regions of our country.
Since the beginning of the year, the indicators of transportation of mining minerals by railway shop No 2 have been 4,403,375 tons instead of the planned 4,351,000 tons, and the forecast has been fulfilled by 101.2%. Effective work is being done to reduce production costs in the workshop. In particular, 297.5 tons of fuel have been saved since the beginning of the year. Also, due to organizational and technical measures for fuel economy, instead of the planned 132.7 tons of fuel economy, 297.5 tons of fuel were saved, and the forecast was fulfilled by 224.2%.
We witnessed that significant work is being done in the field of digitization. On the basis of the "One-stop shop" principle, cargo service is provided electronically to cargo owners during cargo transportation. The advantages of this process are that the transport documents of transported goods and wagons in motion are carried out remotely. In addition, the condition of the wagons, their repair requirements, repair periods, etc., are carried out with the help of this electronic program, which eliminates unnecessary hassle and speeds up the processing of documents. It ensures fast and timely delivery of cargo to the designated destinations, eliminating wasted time altogether.
