I would not be wrong to say that the visit of the head of our state to the regions and the most important strategic objects always initiates a period of sharp turns. In particular, the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in 2017 to the city of Almalyk and the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex started a completely new stage in the history of the complex.

Simultaneously with the implementation of the investment program for the development of the "Yoshlik 1" mining area, the strategy of increasing the capacity of the main production enterprises of AMMC was determined. In a short period of time, significant work was carried out on the technical and technological rearmament of the existing capacities of the Copper concentrator plant itself.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev's next visit to the Tashkent region, including "Almalyk MMC" JSC, was fruitful and set directions for new ambitious tasks. In particular, the proposals made at the meeting with the activists of the region regarding the implementation of the production of the products purchased by "Almalyk MMC" JSC, increasing the capabilities of the Tashkent region, are noteworthy.

I think that the production of potassium xanthate, which is used in beneficiation processes, will be started in our country, and it will undoubtedly help to reduce the technological costs of not only the copper beneficiation factory, but also the newly built beneficiation factories, and reduce the cost of the final products.

The instructions and suggestions of the head of our state inspire the labor team of the Copper concentrator plant, which is the largest beneficiation enterprise of AMMC, to new goals. The factory team has set a priority goal of processing 40.3 million tons of ore next year.
