As part of the agreement, an industrial tour to the Complex was organized for students and teachers of the university on April 17.
The tour began with a visit to the observation platform of the Kalmakyr mine. Chairman of the Board of “Almalyk MMC” JSC Abdulla Khursanov introduced the students in detail to the ore mining process and the Complex activities:
“At present, in addition to fulfillment of production forecasts, we are actively implementing investment projects,” noted A. Khursanov. - As part of the Yoshlik I deposit development project, the mine itself, copper concentrator-3 and all its necessary infrastructure are being built. Today, leading global companies are demonstrating interest in the implementation of our projects. We receive proposals for cooperation. In implementation of these large-scale initiatives, we, of course, count on young professionals like you.
The guests then got acquainted with the progress of work at the Yoshlik I deposit, as well as with the processes of repair, digitalization and training of personnel at the utility vehicles department.
In the afternoon, a seminar was organized with the participation of students and teachers of the New Uzbekistan University, the Almalyk branch of National Research Technological University “Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys”, specialists of the Complex and students of the branch of Tashkent State Technical University in Almalyk.
