On the basis of the decision of the President of September 30, 2018 "On measures to reconstruct and strengthen the development capacities of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine" JSC, comprehensive reconstruction and modernization works are being carried out at the copper enrichment plant.

According to the adopted program for the reconstruction of the copper enrichment plant, the mills No. 25 and 26 in section No. 2 of the Refinery and Flotation Shop were overhauled and NGSU hydrocyclone pumping devices were installed in them. The diameter of these mills is 5 meters, and they have the capacity to process 160 tons of ore per hour.

The chief foreman of the site, Ahmadjon Yunusov, said that the new hydrocyclone pumping devices installed in these mills allow to increase the amount of crushed product in the fraction of 0.071 mm in the ore crushing process from the current 60% to 70%.

Fully digitized hydrocyclones lead to an increase in the level of crushing of the sludge delivered to the flotation process, which, in turn, leads to a high-quality implementation of the flotation process. Previously, mill operators managed the processes manually, but now they implement the process with the help of a special program. Pump power, ore density, pressure are monitored through the panel of the pump hydrocyclone device.

In recent years, such reconstruction works have been going on at the factory non-stop.

In the reconstruction works carried out at the factory, structural units such as "Almalyk Metallurgqurilish" Trust, Department of Specialized Repair Works, Department of Project Works, Department of Capital Construction have a significant contribution.

There is no doubt that the newly installed technological equipment ensures high labor productivity in the factory.
