Today, in the area of the dehkan market "Oydin", the construction of an underground passage for pedestrians has begun.

Before the start of construction work, an event was held, in which the Chairman of the Board of JSC Almalyk MMC Abdulla Khursanov and the Head of Almalyk Town Administration Kobil Khamdamov took part.

According to Gulomali Altaev, the leading engineer of the capital construction department of the AMMC, the length of the underpass will be 33 meters, width – 4 meters, height – 2.5 meters. The entrance and exits of the transition will be equipped with ramps for people with disabilities. The transition project was prepared by the Design Works Department.

The construction work will be carried out by the winner of the tender, the contractor Orion Prom Tex Servis LLC. Furkat Norboev, the Chief clerk of the organization, noted that preparations for construction are currently underway on the territory. Earthworks have begun. The construction of the underpass, according to the plan, will take 55 days, and traffic will be restored within 1 month. Next, finishing work will begin. The object is planned to be put into operation ahead of schedule. 25 builders are involved in the work, dump trucks, excavators, truck cranes and other special equipment are involved.

This underpass is being built in order to prevent traffic congestion on the road in the area of the Oydin dekhkan market, where there is frequent increased traffic. Construction is being carried out at the expense of funds allocated by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. It is planned to allocate 3.1 billion UZS for construction work.

P.S. In connection with the construction work, Ekhtirom Street was blocked from the intersection with Mirzo Ulugbek Street to the intersection with Totuvlik Street. In connection with the construction of the underground passage at Oidine, the locations of parking lots and departures of fixed-route taxis running from the bus station and other parking lots have been temporarily changed.

So, the parking of fixed-route taxis of the Tashkent direction - "Almalyk - Chilanzar clothing market", "Almalyk - Rakhat", "Almalyk - st. Sabir Rakhimov is located near the former carpet factory. Sending along the routes "Almalyk - Akhangaran", "Almalyk - Angren", "Almalyk - Nurafshan" is made from the building of the Almalyk branch of the Tashkent State Technical University. The parking lot of vehicles following the route "Almalyk - Pskent" is located near the "Kimyogar". Transport departing from Almalyk to the villages of Telov, Podkhoz is based near the local history museum.
