In order to expand competitive production volumes and master the production of new types of products, the works started several years ago at the Central Repair Mechanics Plant of "Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex" JSC have reached their final stage.
In order to fully satisfy the demand for spare parts and components in the implementation of mining operations, the implementation of the investment program related to the production of mining products was started, lathe-screw cutting and lathe-turning machines were brought during 2014-2019 years and the first steps were taken on updating the park of machine tools. In particular, it was put into operation of the production of the various sizes bearings which are in demand for the complex and enterprises of the Republic in a small department equipped with SN 71C 2000 lathe-screw cutting machines, which are designed for bulk production and processing in small series. These machines, which guarantee a high range of work movements and stable processing of details, are efficiently operated by turners such as Zayniddin Abdukarimov and Botir Shokirov.
With the start of the implementation of the investment project of development of the "Yoshlik I" mine by Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the technical and technological renewal of the machine park of Central Repair and Mechanical Plant, including the Mechanics-Assembly Shop have been begun. From the beginning of this year, the installation of the machines, which are planned to be installed in the mining equipment section, has been started. First, it is necessary to briefly touch upon the company Gleason Corporation, which has established a partnership for the supply of combined machine tools. This German company, which has its offices in the most developed countries of the world, has a history of almost two centuries in the production of machine tools.
- It is known that large details and parts are made in our section, - says acting head of the section Jamshid Umaraliev. - The installation of 2 "AXIOM 900" heavy lathe-screw cutting machines, intended for processing details from 4000 mm in diameter to 8 meters in length has been completed recently. With the commissioning of these machines at full capacity, it will be possible to supply the main technological devices of the currently operating and under construction enrichment factories with spare parts and components. The "Gleason R8000" vertical gear cutting machine also has a number of advantages. Assembled machines are important because they provide the most advanced and innovative solutions to existing problems, and at the same time, product preparation times are reduced by 3-4 times, and most importantly, they ensure high product quality.
All new machines installed on the site are managed using the "SIEMENS" software product base. It allows not only to manage complex operations, but also to quickly identify malfunctions, adjust machine mechanisms and carry out repairs remotely via the Internet. We entrusted the management of our new machines to our experienced turners Bahadir Yusupov, Shukur Mamatkulov, Nabijon Navro'zov, Alisher Shahanov, Azat Gizatullin and Jamshid Masaliyev.
Reduction of the time spent on processing products, preparation of spare parts and components, a sharp increase in the volume of manufactured products, and a reduction in the cost of spare parts and components are achieved thanks to the skills of our skilled workers and the gradual integration of new machines into the processes. In a word, the production of workpieces, conveyors, ore mill shaft gears, belt gears, sidewall linings, bearing housings and other demanding products will surely enter a new stage.
The number of lathes operated by the mining equipment section has increased to 25. In addition to having a number of technical advantages, these machines have the ability to perform lathe-screw cutting operations of various sizes with high efficiency. It is this aspect that makes it possible to produce spare parts and components that were previously imported directly at Central Repair and Mechanical Plant.
