(+998 71) 619-23-33On average, about 55,000 small earthquakes are recorded worldwide every day. However, most of them are so weak that they go unnoticed.
Unfortunately, earthquakes are one of the most destructive natural disasters, since they cannot be predicted in advance. They are especially dangerous for industrial facilities, where they can lead to serious economic losses and endanger human lives.
That is why all structural divisions of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex regularly conduct tactical training on civil defense. The next such exercise was held on February 26 this year at the Automobile Transport Department.
According to the scenario, a powerful earthquake occurred on the territory of motor depot No. 1. The emergency situation was immediately reported to the relevant services, after which a rescue operation began to extract workers from under the rubble. The victims were evacuated to a safe zone, where they were given first aid.
The fire that arose as a result of the earthquake was successfully extinguished by volunteer fire brigades and the fire safety service.
At the end of the exercise, the actions of all involved forces and units were analyzed, successes and identified shortcomings and deficiencies were discussed.
