The workforce of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex completed 2023 with high results, having fulfilled all production targets for 2023.
In particular, in 2023, AMMC produced industrial products worth a total of 31.6 trillion soums. The forecast in this direction was fulfilled by 106.1%.
Products worth a total of 661.9 million US dollars were exported to countries such as Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Indonesia, the Netherlands, China, Azerbaijan, Poland, Spain, the USA and Germany. The forecast was fulfilled by 102.6%.
Within the framework of 4 projects included in the investment program, 1,128.2 million US dollars were spent (the forecast was fulfilled by 101.9% of the forecast). Including 893.8 million US dollars (102.1%) - foreign loans.
Within the framework of the Localization Program, products worth 429.0 billion soums were manufactured for 147 projects, the forecast was fulfilled by 119.9%.
Due to measures taken to optimize operating expenses, a reduction in the cost of production by 404.7 billion soums (3.3%) will be achieved.
In 2023, as part of the digital transformation, 34 projects were implemented at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, of which 12 were related to improving business process management systems, 14 - to production automation, 8 - to automation of the mining and transport complex and infrastructure.
In 2023, AMMC saved 224 billion soums as a result of work on digitalization and optimization of technological and business processes. The plant paid 14.9 trillion soums to the state budget.
Along with achieving high results in production, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex carried out a large amount of work to support the social sphere.
In particular, as part of the implementation of the State Program 2023 - “Year of Caring for People and Quality Education”, an unfinished kindergarten building was reconstructed on the territory of the Eltamgali MSG in the Akkurgan district and adapted for housing and a kindergarten. 10.3 billion soums have been allocated for this.
Sponsorship support in the amount of 22.2 billion soums was provided to strengthen the material and technical base of the “Sakhovat va kumak” Foundation (500 million soums), as well as to repair boilers and heating systems of social facilities in the Tashkent region.
With the sponsorship of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, a major reconstruction of the Chatkal Palace of Culture, located in Krasnogorsk, Parkent district, was carried out. 11.8 billion soums were allocated for the repair of the Palace of Culture.
AMMC allocated 1 billion soums to strengthen the material and technical base of the Makhalla Charitable Public Foundation of the Tashkent region. 5.5 billion soums were allocated for the development of sports for the Judo Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
An underground pedestrian crossing was built near the “Oydin” peasant market with the sponsorship support of the plant. 3.4 billion soums were allocated for the construction of this facility.
Also in 2023, a major reconstruction of the medical and sanitary part of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex was carried out. The plant allocated 12.8 billion soums for this.
With the sponsorship support of the plant, the Almalyk Municipal Maternity Complex was transformed into an inter-district perinatal center. 13.6 billion soums were allocated for the reconstruction of this facility.
In order to further improve the infrastructure of Almalyk, work was carried out to improve the city streets, social facilities, and asphalt was laid on an area of 75 thousand square meters. 7.5 billion soums were allocated for these works.
