The media forum under such name was held on 28-29 July this year at the “Oltin Olma” boarding house, located in the Bostanlyk district.

The forum, organized by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, was attended by the heads of information services of state bodies and organizations, town and district administrations.

The event was opened by the Director of the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Asadjon Khojaev. In his speech, he noted that participation in the media forum is an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience.

Also speaking at the opening ceremony of the forum were the Chairman of the Board of Joint Stock Company “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex”, Senator Abdulla Khursanov and the officials of the Agency. It was emphasized that such events play an important role in improving the activities of information services and ensuring transparency and openness of government bodies.

On the first day of the forum, press secretaries of the territorial departments of AIMC made presentations on such important topics as improving the information service and interaction with modern media.

In addition, master classes were held with the participation of highly qualified media experts. They spoke in detail about the rules for maintaining a positive image on the Internet, working with negativity, as well as the subtleties and nuances of maintaining pages and channels on the social networks Telegram, Facebook, and Instagram.

The experts also shared their experience in solving problematic situations that press service managers may encounter in the course of their activities.

In the evening of the same day, within the framework of the forum, an intellectual game “Media-Quiz” was organized among the heads of information services, the winners of which were awarded with memorable gifts from AIMC. On the second day of the forum, the “Spartakiad-AIMC” took place in several sports. Participants competed in volleyball, chess, checkers and table tennis. The winners of these competitions were also presented with memorable gifts.
