+998 71 619 23 33On February 6 of this year, a conference was held at the central repair mechanical plant of AMMC, where the results of the implementation of the collective agreement for 2023-2025 in the forge and welding shop of the enterprise were summed up.
Also on the same day, a reporting and election conference of the trade union organization of the shop for 2024 was held.
Of the 41 elected delegates, 40 took part in the conference. First, the delegates elected the composition of the executive committee, secretariat, editorial and counting commissions.
Then the responsible persons presented reports on the implementation of the collective agreement in 2024, as well as on the activities of the trade union committee over the past 5 years.
To date, 379 people work in the forge and welding shop of the plant, including 51 pensioners. All of them are members of the trade union. There are more than 70 women in the shop, and more than 140 young people under 30.
In the reporting year, 102 workers and their families rested in sanatoriums in Uzbekistan, and 227 workers and their relatives restored their health in the sanatorium-preventoriums of the complex.
Also, during the reporting period, the trade union provided financial assistance in the amount of 48,600,000 soums to 162 employees who were on long-term sick leave to restore their health. In 2024, 39 employees received social assistance in the amount of 12,200,000 soums.
Each non-working pensioner was annually provided with financial assistance consisting of 1.64 of the minimum wage, according to the collective agreement.
Every year, more than 275 children spent their summer holidays in the children’s camps “Istiqlol”, “Gulzor”, “Metallurg” and “Tong”.
More than a thousand workers and their families, and in 2024 - 221 people and their relatives, rested in the boarding house “Oltin Olma”, in the recreation areas “Avtomobilist” and “Sinegorye”.
In addition, workers are provided with social leave. 13 parents whose children went to first grade were granted one-day leave with pay. Workers who lost loved ones were also granted paid days off.
For children of workers aged 2 to 12, 1,382 New Year’s gifts were distributed, in 2024 - 302 gifts.
The trade union actively promotes compliance with internal labor standards and ensures high-quality performance of work duties on time.
Cases of termination of employment agreements with employees during the reporting period were considered, which resulted in one violation of internal labor regulations. A decision was made on 9 cases, of which the trade union approved 3 and rejected 6, leaving employees at their workplaces.
During the event, reports of the trade union committee on such areas as spiritual and moral education, sports, gender equality and youth policy were also heard.
Each member of the trade union commission also presented a report on the work done.
Repairman Shavkat Norov, who has been working at the forging and welding shop for over 42 years: “I am proud to work in such a close-knit team. Over the years, the trade union has repeatedly created comfortable working conditions for us, the workers, and cared about our health. Personally, I have repeatedly vacationed in sanatoriums in Uzbekistan thanks to the benefits provided by the trade union.” He also noted that the plant regularly hosts cultural and sports events, and in recent years many modern technologies have been introduced that contribute to increasing labor efficiency. In addition, the trade union organizes tourist trips to historical sites of our country for employees. All trade union news and announcements are published in the Telegram channels of the Central Repair Mechanical Plant trade union. As Sh. Norov emphasized, the trade union committee is of great importance in each organization, because it protects the social and economic rights and interests of workers.
The work of the trade union organization of the Forging and welding shop on the implementation of the collective agreement drawn up for 2023-2025, as well as the activities of the trade union committee for the period from July 2020 to January 2025, were recognized by the conference delegates as “satisfactory”.
In addition, the delegates nominated three candidates for the post of chairman of the trade union committee, and the elections were held by open voting. By unanimous decision of the delegates, Ozoda Baratova was elected to the position of chairman. A new trade union composition of 11 people was also formed.
During the event, delegates were elected to participate in the collective agreement and the reporting and election conference of the Central Repair Mechanical Plant.
A corresponding decision was made based on the results of this event.
