Dear workers of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, production veterans, colleagues, friends and partners!

This year we celebrate an outstanding event - the 75th anniversary of our enterprise. And this is not just a date on the calendar, but a symbol of continuity, resilience and outstanding achievements, the foundation of which was laid by our predecessors, as we are laying it now for future generations.

Almost a century ago, the exploration of the Kalmakyr deposit served as the basis for the creation of our Complex.

The Complex, created in the difficult post-war years, fully met expectations during the period when economic recovery was required.

The past years have been filled with trials and accumulation of experience in the activities and development of our Complex. And the acquisition of independence by our Motherland allowed the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, like all industries, to become independent, fully using its resources. Today, we continue with honor the work of the first workers of the AMMC, maintaining the high title of the flagship of non-ferrous metallurgy in Uzbekistan. We have come a long and sometimes difficult way, filled with both successes and challenges. Each stage of our history became an important milestone, reflecting the spirit of the times and the desire of our team for development and improvement.

Today, being the second largest taxpayer of the republic, AMMC is an active participant in the market of non-ferrous and precious metals with good export potential and makes a significant contribution to the economy of our country.

We are proud that our Complex has become not only one of the leading enterprises in the industry, but also a real school for many specialists. We have focused on professionalism, innovation and quality, which allowed us to take a worthy place in the competitive market and become a reliable partner for many companies.

Today we can confidently say that our Complex is not only a workplace for thousands and thousands of people, but also a large and friendly family with one destiny, history, one goal. We support each other, exchange knowledge and experience, overcome difficulties together. It is this cohesion and unity that are the key factors of our success.

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has entered the international arena as a new enterprise of the New Uzbekistan. With the support and initiative of the head of our state, we are implementing today, without exaggeration, the project of the century.

Modernization of the existing production, new and under-construction production facilities within the framework of the project for the development of the Yoshlik I deposit will increase the economic power of the Complex several times in the future. This will be a worthy contribution to the prosperity of our country, further improvement of the well-being of our people.

In 2017, the President of Uzbekistan launched the construction of the “Yoshlik I” quarry, and in 2017, the construction of copper concentrator No. 3.

On October 15 of this year, during the President’s visit to the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the construction of copper concentrator No. 4 was launched. These events have become unforgettable historical dates in the activities of the Complex, and inspire the AMMC team to new achievements.

In the new history of our Complex, we undoubtedly rely on young specialists who will manage new plants and factories based on modern, environmentally friendly technologies.

The engineering school, created on the initiative of the President, is designed to improve the qualifications of the AMMC personnel. During his visit to our city, the head of state carefully familiarized himself with its activities and expressed great confidence in the young specialists undergoing training there.

Caring for young people, decent working conditions, training them, retraining - one of our main tasks. We are obliged to pass on our knowledge and experience to the next generations, and we are doing it!

Our partners play a major role in the achievements of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, whom I would like to thank for their trust and support. Many of you are an important part of the history of the Complex. And our reputation and reliability are the result of your choice to work with us.

We also express our boundless gratitude to all our veterans, our workforce for their worthy contribution to the results achieved by our complex.

An integral part of the activities of AMMC is a strong social policy that supports not only the veterans of its production, caring for the health, rest, leisure of workers and their families, but also social institutions of the republic, health care and public education facilities. Much is being done to create favorable living conditions for the residents of Almalyk and other settlements where our divisions are located.

After all, as the head of our state emphasized, today we have no more important task than caring for a person, ensuring his interests.

The year of the 75th anniversary of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex became the beginning of a new stage in the life of our work collective. I can confidently say that with such highly qualified masters of their craft, new achievements, new heights and new victories await us ahead!
