Dear Stagers!

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on your professional holiday – the Mining and Metallurgical Industry Workers' Day!

This year marks the 75^th anniversary of our native plant establishment.

And we have something to be proud of! Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine has always been at the forefront of the Uzbek economy. Being one of the largest enterprises in the country, AMMC provides significant shares in the GDP.

So it was and it is! AMMC has always been a reliable support in solving government programs and social issues aimed at improving the well-being and quality of  population life. We are not giving up our positions today, solving numerous tasks set by the country government for us.

In the four months of this year, we produced 10.9 trillion UZS worth of commercial products, the forecast was fulfilled by 115.4 percent. Products worth 177.8 million dollars or 105.0 percent of the target were exported. And, in this regard, I want to mention our entire team of thousands of professionals, thanks to whom we achieve such high results in solving production tasks.

It is worth noting the large–scale work on the localization program, which will produce products in record volume - 1.5 trillion UZS this year. Work has begun on the powder metallurgy program, with the development of 25 new types of complex products by 2030.

But the main task of the Combine is the implementation of the investment project "Development of the Yoshlik I deposit". This is our perspective, which in the coming years will bring the volume of ore processing to 160 million tons, and the production of cathode copper to 400 thousand tons per year. This is achieved through the construction and commissioning of 2 copper processing plants and a new metallurgical complex.

I would like every worker of the plant to feel immersiveness to this grandiose investment project, which is one of the largest unity in achieving this goal in the history of Uzbekistan.

But the embodiment of the production perspective, even such a grandiose one, does not relieve us of responsibility in solving social issues. This year alone, the training center and the sewing factory in the  Chadak village were commissioned, which allowed 500 residents of the area to be employed, the hostel in Khandiz, the reconstruction of the preschool educational institution and the house for families in need of social protection in the Akkurgan district was completed. The opening of the park of the Combine's builders is scheduled for the professional holiday.

Among the significant initiatives in the near future, I would also name the creation of the “HG-AMMC” joint venture, where the production of spare parts for mining machines and railway equipment is planned."
