Allow me to extend my sincere congratulations for all employees and activists of trade union organization of the Complex on the occasion of your professional holiday - Trade Unions Day of Uzbekistan!

Given the major role and importance of trade unions of the Republic in the social life of our country, at the initiative of the head of our state for the first time in the history of independent Uzbekistan, Trade Unions Day of Uzbekistan was established and the date of its celebration was set for November 11. And now this day is celebrated as a professional holiday for all those involved in this field.

I am not exaggerating if I say that this day was an unforgettable and golden day in the life of trade unions, uniting in their ranks millions of people of various professional directions. Today we can proudly say that the efforts, unity, and selfless work of union members make a significant contribution to the spiritual, cultural, and social life of our society.

To date, the trade union organization of employees of “Almalyk MMC” JSC has 46464 members and provides social and economic protection of employees of the Complex. It is difficult to overestimate the role of the trade union in the social life of the labor collective, in the regulation of social partnership and labor relations, the implementation of the collective agreement, creating favorable conditions for employees.

Trade unions of the Complex are active participants in all ongoing large-scale transformations at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, contribute to the fulfillment of labor obligations by the workers.

The Trade Union Council plays an important role in creation of decent working conditions for workers, securing their interests, and providing meaningful leisure time for them and their families. There are always veterans of production and retirees who can always count on the help and support of your organization.

Your active participation in social and economic reforms carried out at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, your initiatives to protect the rights and interests of workers, working women, young workers, family members, work to widely promote healthy lifestyles among workers and increase the importance of cultural and educational education deserve recognition not only at the Complex, but also in the country.

Thus, thanks to the efforts of the Trade Union Council to create decent working conditions for female workers at the Complex, protect them and help them achieve their potential, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex won the contest “Gender Equality Activist”, held on the initiative of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, was recognized the best in the category “The most active organization in ensuring equality”.

Perfectly organized summer vacation for children of factory workers has repeatedly noted and is an example for other resorts in the region and the Republic. In 2021 Children Resting Camp “Istiklol” was recognized as the “Most Exemplary Camp”, and this year the title of “Best Camp” was awarded to Children Resting Camp “Gulzor”.

Thanks to the achieved results, 27 representatives of the Trade Union Council of “Almalyk MMC” JSC and its activists were awarded the badge “Kasaba Uyushmalari kuniga 1 yil/1^st Anniversary of Trade Unions Day” established by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
