Dear railroad workers of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex!

Dear veterans of the industry!

Please accept sincere congratulations on the 70^th anniversary of the formation of the Industrial Railway Transportation Department.

In 1953, it was a small railroad shop with a rolling stock of several 400 horsepower steam locomotives. With the development of the combine, thanks to the selfless work of railway workers, the Department became one of the key divisions of AMMC, with thousands of employees, more than 250 kilometers of railway tracks and a huge fleet of equipment capable of providing tens of millions of tons of cargo turnover.

Employees of steel trunks are a link between the divisions of the plant, providing round-the-clock transportation of ore from open pits to enterprises, receiving cargoes for production needs and sending finished products to national and foreign consumers.

Today the Department actively participates in implementation of tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev on large-scale expansion of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.

In particular, more than 30 km of railroads were built, 74 sets of railroad switchs were installed, and a new station was opened as part of the Yoshlik I field development project. The fleet was replenished by 381 units of new equipment - railcars of various types, special self-propelled railway equipment, railway cranes, diesel locomotives, traction units and others. Work is actively underway to introduce modern information technologies, automated control systems, and digitalization of traffic.

Glorious labor traditions of railway workers are preserved today. We are confident that this contributes to the further development and modernization of the Complex railway infrastructure, which go hand in hand with the construction of Copper Concentrators No. 3, 4 and 5 to process over 200 million tons of ore and a new metallurgical complex with a capacity of 400 thousand tons of copper products per year.

Congratulating the labor collective of the Industrial Railway Transport Department on the anniversary and the professional holiday celebrated these days - Railway Workers Day, I wish you with all of my heart health, happiness, new achievements and prosperity!
