The long-awaited, bright and beautiful day of spring - Navruz - is coming to our native land.

With all my heart I congratulate you on this wonderful holiday - the Eastern New Year!

At the suggestion of the head of our state, the nationally beloved holiday is celebrated under the motto “May your values be eternal, Navruz!”.

This holiday, which has come to us from the depths of centuries, reminds us of the enduring national values - love for our native land, respect for the customs and traditions laid down by our ancestors, as well as the need to maintain a peaceful and calm life. It fills the hearts with kindness, mercy and unity of all those living on the fertile multinational land of Uzbekistan.

The workforce of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex celebrates Navruz with special enthusiasm. Thanks to coordinated work and dedication, achieving significant success in fulfilling the priority tasks set before the enterprise, we make a significant contribution to strengthening the country’s economic potential and improving the well-being of the population.

The announcement of 2025 as the Year of Environmental Protection and the “Green Economy” gives a special atmosphere to this spring holiday. Greening, and through it improving the ecological state, play an important role in the lives of Almalyk residents.

Within the framework of the national programs “Yashil Makon” (“Green Land”) and “Yashil Belbog” (“Green Belt”), the workers of the AMMC are actively working on greening industrial areas, creating new parks, reducing harmful emissions, efficiently using water resources, and further transition to a “green economy” through the use of alternative energy sources - installing solar power plants at industrial and social facilities, mini-hydroelectric power plants. All this corresponds to the strategic objectives set by the President of the country to ensure environmental stability.

Today, with full dedication, we continue to work on investment projects, the implementation of which is aimed at the benefit of our people. The plant’s team faces ambitious tasks, the implementation of which requires our full dedication and unity. These include the commissioning of copper processing plant No. 3 and sulfuric acid shop No. 6 at the zinc plant, accelerating the pace of construction of the metallurgical complex, lime plant, copper processing plant No. 4, oxygen station and a number of other important facilities.

Navruz has always been a time of charity. And today it is a holiday of good deeds, when assistance is provided to families in need of social protection, veterans, and those left without support. The fact that this year Navruz coincided with the holy month of Ramadan also gives special meaning. This further inspires us to do good deeds – care for the older generation, participants of the Second World War and the labor front, for people living in the Mekhribonlik, Sakhovat and Muruvvat charity houses. Participation in their fate is our human and civic duty. And, widely celebrating the holiday together with fellow citizens, we will organize it for all social institutions assigned to AMMC, and will also continue work on landscaping and improving the city.

The beloved holiday celebrated these days serves such a noble purpose as strengthening peace and cooperation between peoples and nations on the planet. Its strength is in the harmony of today, when we are building a New Uzbekistan, with our national values.
