Dear participants of the Second World War and the labor front, dear stagers and workers of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Almalyk residents!

I heartily congratulate you on May 9 - the Day of Remembrance and Honors, as well as on the 79^th  anniversary of the Great Victory in the World War II!

This date is very significant for each of us. On this day, we bow before the bright memory of our ancestors who did not return from the battlefields, who provided a reliable homefront, and pay tribute to our respected veterans who remain with us today. We are eternally grateful to them for the opportunity to live and work in peace and harmony.

In our country, material and moral assistance and social support are constantly provided to war veterans and persons equated to them, participants in the labor front, family members of military personnel and law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

At the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, veterans are always in the zone of special attention, and honoring them during the celebration of May 9 has become a good tradition at the enterprise. The houses of the participants of the war and the labor front are being put in order, repairs are being carried out if necessary, and house plots are being landscaped. And on the eve of the holiday, they are visited by managers, representatives of trade union committees and activists of enterprises to communicate with veterans, get to know their needs and wishes better, give gifts and festive food packages.

Festive tables and concert programs are organized for the elderly people living in the "Sakhovat" and "Muruvvat" Houses, assigned to the AMMC, on the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Honors.

Today, the labor collective of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine contributes to strengthening the power of Uzbekistan with honest and selfless work. All our activities are aimed at increasing the economic potential, expanding prospects aimed at improving the well-being of the people of our country. With our labor achievements and heroism, we are writing new pages of triumphant victories in the annals of our state's independence. Therefore, the Day of Remembrance and Honors is a holiday for each of us!

Paying tribute to the merits and exploits of our veterans, by decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, they receive financial assistance, which amounted to 20 million UZS this year. The management of “Almalyk MMC” JSC also provides financial support to the participants of the Second World War and the Labor Front assigned to it. Those who participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, internationalist soldiers, lonely and veterans of the enterprise in need of social support do not remain without attention.

The memory of our compatriots, who are the example of courage, heroism, selfless love for the Motherland, caring and kind attitude towards our ancestors who survived the horror of the war years, is our sacred duty, our duty. They will always remain the symbol of courage for us. And we will never forget the labor exploits of those who stood at the origins of our production, and those who today contribute to the further development of the plant and realize the planned prospects.

Taking this opportunity, I sincerely congratulate our war veterans, the stagers, workers of the combine and Almalyk residents on this great holiday!
