Dear workers of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, veterans of production, Almalyk residents!

We are standing on the threshold of a new year – a time of magic and expectation of a miracle, summing up the results of what has been done and preparing plans for the future.

The outgoing year was truly historic – the head of state Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev visited Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the engineering school, the “Yoshlik I” quarry and Copper Processing Plant No. 3 under construction, discussed the prospects of the plant with the specialists and launched the construction of MOF-4.

This year, the enterprise turned 75 years old. In connection with this date, a number of AMMC workers were awarded by the Decree of the President for their achievements in work and contribution to the development of the metallurgical industry. The outgoing year also became an anniversary year for Copper Processing Plant No. 2, which celebrated its 70th anniversary, and the Palace of Culture “Metallurg”, which opened its doors 60 years ago.

Working with full dedication, many work teams of the plant completed their annual assignments ahead of schedule, and we can confidently say that AMMC will cope with all the forecast indicators for the year. In 2024, we had many achievements. These rightfully include the start of mining and processing of ore from the “Yoshlik I” quarry with the development of a process mode for new raw materials. Despite the existing difficulties with the supply of equipment, we have reached the stage of commissioning works at Copper Processing Plant No. 3.

A significant event for AMMC, expanding the horizons of its prospects, was the start of work on the construction of Copper Processing Plant No. 4 and a new metallurgical complex. The ongoing modernization of the existing production is yielding results, increasing the volume of finished products and reducing their cost, thereby ensuring competitiveness in foreign markets.

This year was also indicative in terms of the transition to "green" energy. Today, renewable energy sources are already used in almost all structural divisions of the enterprise. Along with the installation of solar panels, the launch of its own mini-hydroelectric power plants has begun. The first sign in this direction was the installation of a hydro turbine generator on the Tanachi-Buka canal.

Speaking about the social obligations of JSC “Almalyk MMC”, I would like to emphasize that the enterprise pays great attention to spirituality and education, supports the healthcare and public education sectors, contributes to the training of athletes and the education of champions of national and international championships.

In the outgoing year alone, the plant built a football field and the football academy base for children, the sewing factory in Chadak, the kindergarten and a residential building in Akkurgan, prepared the premises of the Nuroniylar Maskani for labor veterans and low-income pensioners, and reconstructed social facilities and institutions. The achievement of the year can be said to be the fact that for the first time in its history, the “OKMK” football club became the silver medalist of the Uzbekistan Super League and was awarded the prestigious Fair Play award.

In continuation of the work on personnel training, the lessons began at the engineering school of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex – a new direction in the education system of Uzbekistan. The veterans of labor cooperate with it, along with domestic and foreign teachers participating in the training process, sharing their experience and cultivating a proper attitude to work.

In a word, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex was and remains a reliable support for the country's economy, responsible in its attitude to all production and social obligations imposed on it.

Dear Workers of AMMC, Veterans of the Industry, Almalyk Inhabitants!

The President of the Republic has declared the new year 2025 as the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy.

Improving the ecology and landscaping are of great importance for our team and the population of Almalyk. As part of the implementation of the national project "Yashil Makon", we have already planted more than 1.5 million seedlings, and we will continue this necessary and noble cause in the future.

In the coming year, we expect many positive results. Copper Processing Plant No. 3 will start operating according to the full technological scheme, producing additional copper for the republic. The launch of sulfuric acid shop No. 6 at the Zinc Plant will reduce sulfur oxide emissions into the atmosphere to a minimum.

It is planned to organize the construction of Copper Processing Plant No. 4, a new lime plant, an oxygen station and other facilities of the new metallurgical complex at an accelerated pace.

The focus will be on the social and cultural development of the team: protecting the health of workers and their families, raising children and youth in the spirit of devotion to their homeland. We will continue to work on retraining and preparing highly qualified personnel, as well as supporting science and innovation.

Dear Colleagues!

Metallurgical production is a continuous process, thousands of our colleagues will be on duty at their workplaces on New Year's Eve, which means that we will enter 2025 without slowing down the pace of production.

We have set the bar high for ourselves – we will keep it! We will build and commission new facilities, implement grandiose projects, laying a solid foundation for today's youth and future generations!

On the eve of the New Year, I sincerely thank the entire workforce of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex for their creative, conscientious work, allowing the enterprise to retain the title of flagship of non-ferrous metallurgy and be among the leaders in many areas of activity.
