+998 71 619 23 33In honor of the Day of Mining and Metallurgical Industry Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC, a professional skills competition “The Best Young Metallurgist” was held among specialists from the Complex structural divisions.
The competition, organized by the Complex Youth Union Council in conjunction with the technical department, was aimed at identifying talented workers in the metallurgical industry, developing their professional knowledge and skills, and increasing young people’s interest in the profession.
According to the competition regulations, participation was open to workers under 30 years of age with higher education in various areas of the metallurgical industry. Participants competed in two stages. At the first stage, the contestants answered 20 test questions. Based on the results of the test, the 10 participants who showed the best results advanced to the next round. In the second stage, participants had to solve practical problems proposed by the commission members, demonstrating the level of their professional knowledge and skills. Adkhamjon Akbaraliev, a representative of Copper Processing Plant No. 2, took third place in the competition, while Makhmudbek Bakhtiyorov, an employee of the Center for the Development and Implementation of Innovative Technologies, took second place. Nikita Rezvykh, who defended the honor of the Central Repair and Mechanical Plant, was recognized as the winner of the competition and the title of “The Best Young Metallurgist”.
On the same day, a professional skills competition, “The Best Young Specialist in Human Resources Management”, was held. At the first stage, participants also answered 20 test questions, testing their theoretical knowledge. The contestants then completed a written assignment, answering 5 questions.
According to the results of the competition, third place was taken by Diyorakhon Ilina, a representative of the Kalmakyr mine administration, and second place was taken by Mukhammadjon Ibrokhimov, an employee of the copper smelter. First place was won by Ulugbek Mamajonov, an employee of the Technological Transport Department, who was awarded the title of “The Best Young HR Specialist”.
Conduct of such professional skills competitions is an important factor in development of the potential of the Complex young staff. It’s worth noting that such competitions not only help to identify talented young metallurgists and HR specialists, but also serve as an effective platform for sharing experiences and professional growth.
