Major tasks:
- Well-timed staffing the Complex’ shops and divisions with required specialty workers according to labor forecast, as well as with a staff list of leaders, specialists and employees, and workers staffs.
- Regular study of the Complex’ subdivision specialists qualities with the purpose to provide the personnel to fill positions and create a nomination reserve.
- Realization of the constitutional right of the JSC ‘Almalyk MMC’ workers for old age social support in case of total or partial disablement, breadwinner loss, and mothers of large families, having life-long disabled children.

Major tasks:
- The main functions and responsibilities of the department:
- Development of the social sphere of JSC Almalyk MMC, aimed at increasing the real incomes of employees;
- Improving the system of social protection and health protection of employees;
- Implementation of targeted programs for the construction of affordable housing for the employees of JSC Almalyk MMC;
- Improving the quality of therapeutic-preventive and free meals, housing and living conditions, medical care and recreation for workers of JSC Almalyk MMC;
- Ensuring the needs of employees in preschool educational institutions, summer health camps;
- Maintaining the contact with the region and town administrations, charitable foundations, associations and other public organizations for the development of the social sphere of the city.
- Timely control and execution of documents of higher organizations, orders, assignments and orders of the management of the plant;
- Ensuring participation in the implementation of targeted programs for the construction of affordable housing, development and modernization of road transport, engineering, communication and social infrastructure in Almalyk;
- Implementation of control over the improvement of housing and communal services, social infrastructure facilities, performance of the works on their timely and high-quality repair and improvement;
- Ensuring and exercising control over the improvement of the system of social protection of workers;
- Implementation of control over the improvement of conditions in preschool educational institutions of the plant for the comprehensive development of children;
- Ensuring the availability of the needs of employees in preschool educational institutions and children's health camps;
- Implementation of control over the organization of therapeutic and prophylactic and free meals in the production canteens of the plant;
- Ensuring the improvement of cultural and living conditions, the development of sports and recreation for employees of JSC Almalyk MMC;
- Ensuring the improvement of medical care for workers and strengthening the material and technical base of medical centers at work;
- Control over the safety of the housing stock;
- Ensuring communication with charitable foundations and public organizations on a systematic basis;
- Determination of directions for managing social processes, creating a socio-psychological climate in teams;
- Improving the system of material, socio-cultural, moral and psychological incentives to increase the labor and social activity of employees, creative attitude to work, collective and individual responsibility for the results of joint activities;
- Implementation of control over the implementation of measures to prepare the housing stock and social and cultural facilities for the autumn-winter period;
- Control over the work of industrial canteens, recreation areas, children's health camps, a sanatorium and other social and cultural facilities.
