• Regular enhancement of technical level when using power equipment, and the organizational work on rational use of power, fuel and secondary energy resources.
• Timely expanding the energy capacities and introduction of modern technology.

Major tasks:

• Managing the technical state of equipment in industrial buildings, structures and transfer mechanisms, as well as ensuring correct economical, trouble-free and safe operation of equipment.
• Supply the Complex’ subdivisions with spare parts and repair products.
• Managing the work to increase safety and operating life of equipment by means of implementation of advanced technology, protective coats and new materials, and also technical guidance for these works.
• Assurance of effective use of production capacities, sections and units, which form the repair and mechanical service.
• Improvement of management and technology for repair of the equipment on the basis of the planned maintenance system, as well as due to mastering best practices and development of new units and parts.
• Ensuring rational and economical use of material resources, allocated for repair and operation needs.

DEPARTMENT OF STANDARDIZATION AND CERTIFICATION

Main tasks and functions of the Department:

• Development of standards and other regulatory documentation for the products manufactured (in the absence of RD), as well as the preparation of proposals for their timely revision in cooperation with the specialists of the Complex subdivisions.
• Timely implementation of new standards and other regulatory documents for the products manufactured, as well as guidance and methodological documents on standardization, certification and quality management system at the complex.
• Constant updating of regulatory documents available at the complex.
• Certification of the complex products that are subject to mandatory certification.
• Maintaining of procedural and process documents of the quality management system and continuous improvement of the QMS performance.
• Implementation of organizational and methodological guidance of work on standardization, certification of products and quality management system in the subdivisions of the complex and provision of methodical assistance.
• Work on obtaining of a bar code for manufactured products

ENERGY MANAGER DEPARTMENT

Major tasks:

• Organization and implementation of organizational and technical measures aimed at reducing the volume of energy resources used while maintaining the corresponding beneficial effect from their use;
• Organization of storage and recording of regulatory and technical documentation on EMS, in accordance with ISO 50001 for Almalyk MMC JSC;
• Constantly improving the technical level of operation of energy equipment and organizing work on the rational use of energy, fuel and secondary energy resources;
• Ensuring the functioning of the energy management system (EMS) at Almalyk MMC JSC, as well as analyzing its functioning;
• Participation in the development of energy policy and other documents on EnMS;
• Participation in EMS reviews by senior management;
• Monitoring the implementation of activities and coordinating the activities of departments in the field of implementation and development of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
• Organization of training and retraining of internal auditors on EnMS;
• Ensuring the collection, accumulation and systematization of data to analyze the consumption of energy resources for the plant as a whole, as well as specifically for each type of product included in the EnMS, budget funds and prices for energy resources;
• Organization in departments of operational accounting of fuel, electrical, thermal energy, water consumption and ensuring timely submission of reporting, including information on compliance with fuel and energy consumption standards;
• Participation in the preparation of energy balances, estimates, calendar plans for the consumption of energy resources, progressive specific standards for the consumption of energy resources per unit of output;
• Participation together with departments in the development of measures for the rational consumption of all types of energy and monitoring their implementation.

• Organization of the work in terms of labor protection, industrial safety and industrial sanitation in the Complex’ structural divisions.
• Improvement of the work regarding labor protection and industrial safety with the aim to advance the monitoring system to create safe and healthy working condition in the Complex subdivisions.
• Monitoring the work on labor protection and industrial safety, fire safety and industrial sanitation in the Complex subdivisions.
