On 1 February, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev acquainted with the presentation on the activities for development of the metallurgical enterprises.

It is known that the Navoi Mining & Metallurgical Combine, the Almalyk Mining & Metallurgical Combine, the Uzbek Metallurgical Combine and the state enterprise “Navoiyuran” take the important place in the economy of our country. During the presentation, the responsible persons outlined the plans to increase production and attract investment into the industry.

The head of state also noted that our country has set the goal of doubling its economy by 2030. In this regard, the issue of increasing the efficiency of these large companies is becoming increasingly important.

In order to fulfill the tasks determined at this event, the Chairman of Board of “Almalyk MMC” JSC Abdulla Khursanov held the on-site meetings with the managers, specialists and staff of a number of structural divisions of the Combine.

The Chairman of Board noted that the Head of our country trusts the Combine. And therefore, acting unanimously, the AMMC staff needs to fulfill the tasks of increasing production capacity this year, in particular, increasing the production of cathode copper to 170 thousand tons, the digital transformation of the factory, while paying special attention to introduction of the “green” technologies, accelerating the development of investments and a number of new projects.

He also emphasized the importance of completing the construction of copper concentration plant-3 and timely introduction of the infrastructure facilities, accelerating the construction of the new metallurgical complex. “Our staff has enough knowledge, capabilities and potential to implement these tasks,” the chairman of the board expressed confidence.

It is worth noting that the implementation of the President’s instructions is significant in that it serves primarily for the benefit of the people. Improving the well-being of our people by creating new manufacturing enterprises and jobs is our main goal.
