Among the large industrial projects implemented today in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, a special place is occupied by the Copper concentrator plant -3. Thanks to modern technological equipment, the enterprise is able to successfully compete with the leading players in the mining industry. One of the most important divisions of the plant is the reagent shop – a critical element that ensures an uninterrupted supply of the production process with the necessary reagents.

The main task of the shop is the reception, safe storage, bringing to the desired concentration and accurate supply of chemical reagents used in the flotation process and at other stages of enrichment. All stages of work are aimed at maintaining technological stability, improving product quality and increasing production efficiency.

One of the key areas in the structure of the shop is the lime mortar preparation section. This section was developed by the Turkish company Yılmaz Proses Teknolojileri (YPT) using modern engineering solutions. All equipment was delivered ready-made, and installation work was carried out in a comprehensive manner. Not only are large production capacities provided here, but also high safety and environmental standards are implemented.

The site has modern dust collection and aspiration systems, which significantly reduce emissions of harmful substances into the air when working with lime and other dust-forming reagents. All solution preparation processes are fully automated, which allows not only to reduce the physical load on personnel, but also to ensure a high level of accuracy and constant control. The concentration of solutions and dosage volumes are controlled using modern devices and precision dosing systems, due to which stable quality of solutions is ensured at all stages of production.

It is worth emphasizing that in terms of the level of technological equipment, automation, environmental safety and compliance with standards, the reagent shop of Copper Processing Plant-3 is significantly ahead of similar units in the region.

Streamlined processes of receiving, storing, dissolving and precise dosing of reagents have a direct impact on the efficiency of the entire enrichment system. Coordinated work of all links contributes to the stability of production, high quality of the final product and increased productivity, which significantly increases the efficiency of the enterprise as a whole.

For reference: the design capacity of the plant is 60 million tons of ore per year. In the future, it will become the largest copper ore processing complex not only in Uzbekistan, but also in all of Central Asia. At the moment, the first of the six process lines has been launched in test mode. One of the three crushing and loading complexes has been fully commissioned, and installation work is being completed on the other two. Of the two main conveyors, 4,200 meters long, one is already operating, and the final installations are being completed on the second. As part of the first stage, 42 thousand tons of ore were processed, which were then delivered to storage facilities.

The plant includes sections for coarse, medium and fine crushing, dry and wet screening, grinding and gravity enrichment, flotation, thickening of copper-molybdenum concentrate, filtration, reagent shops, step-down substations, process water supply and cooling systems, a control center, as well as administrative and household buildings. At all these sites, installation work is at the final stage: the equipment has been installed, and production is being launched in stages.
