As part of the implementation of measures to increase the role and popularization of information technology among young people, a seminar-training was held on July 18 this year at the Metallurg Palace of Culture with the participation of the head of the IT community of Uzbekistan - Shavkat Karimov and the director of "Sсhool 21" - Zarina Lukhmanova. 

AMMC specialists working in the IT field, as well as young people interested in this industry, were invited to the seminar.

During the event, the speakers shared with the meeting participants the secrets of their success, which allowed them to pave their own path to IT heights. The guests of the seminar-training also learned about the IT sphere in the world and in Uzbekistan, how to undergo training and find a job in IT, interviews in large global companies, an IT career in the era of artificial intelligence and much more. 

In addition, the acting deputy chairman of the board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” for digitalization Ravshan Maksumov spoke at the event, talking about the role of information technologies in the activities of the plant, achievements in this industry in recent years, as well as the introduction of digitalization in the production processes of the AMMC.

It is worth noting that the guests of the event were able to receive detailed answers to their questions from experts.

For reference: a significant amount of work is being carried out at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant as part of the digital transformation. In particular, the number of events planned for implementation this year is 37. For the period from January to June 2024, 16 projects were implemented.
