Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has been establishing mutual cooperation relations with companies of many countries of the world. Especially in recent years, beneficial relations have been established between AMMC and the leading companies of Great Britain. As a proof of our words, we can take as an example the visit of the Great Britain delegation led by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Great Britain to Uzbekistan Tim Thorlow to the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex today.

Andrew Mitchell, Director General of the Department of International Trade of Great Britain, Carola Schulz, Managing Director of "Weir Minerals" Company, Desislava Radevalar, Director of Structured Export Financing of Standard Chartered Bank, came as part of the delegation.

Mutually beneficial cooperation relations, financial solutions of Standard Chartered and UKEF Bank for AMMC infrastructure and capital projects were discussed at the meeting organized by both parties.

Also, during the negotiations, the agreement on the development of cooperation between British mining companies and AMMC, including the provision of Weir Minerals services to the 3rd copper beneficiation plant was discussed.

During the visit, the high-ranking guests also visited the Kalmoqqir and Yoshlik-1 mines, the newly built 3rd copper beneficiation plant and the copper smelting plant, and got acquainted with technological production processes.

For information, it can be said that cooperation relations have been established between AMMC and a number of UK companies. In particular, on November 29 of this year, a contract worth 14.2 million euros was signed between AMMC and "Weir Group plc" for the supply of equipment to a copper beneficiation factory.

Also, UK company "Technip Energies" was engaged for technical evaluation and acceptance of project documents of the 3rd Copper Enrichment Plant.

In addition, SRK Consulting, the leading English company in the world, performed the calculation of reserves of AMMC according to the JORC code, which stands out among internationally recognized standards.
