Ensuring continuity of the production and technological process

21 November 2024, 13:45 476

Currently, the structural divisions of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex are actively implementing measures aimed at reducing production costs and reducing the cost of production. Particular attention is paid to innovative proposals made by specialists to improve the efficiency of these processes.

At the Copper Concentration Plant-2, significant work is also being carried out in this direction. A detailed analysis of innovative solutions for 2024-2025 has been carried out, on the basis of which a number of proposals have already been introduced into production.

Today, the structural divisions of the enterprise are effectively working to reduce production costs and reduce the cost of production. Innovative ideas offered by specialists to perform these works are especially relevant.

A lot of work is also being done in this direction at the plant. Analyzing innovative proposals for increasing energy efficiency, reducing production costs and reducing production costs for 2024-2025, it can be seen that a number of proposals have been implemented in production.

For example, Temur Inatov's project "Sensor for preventing longitudinal rupture of the conveyor belt" was one of the winners of the competition of innovative ideas held this year. This sensor minimizes damage to the conveyor belt, which helps to avoid long-term equipment downtime and prevents complete destruction of the belt. Usually, a conveyor belt rupture leads to a stoppage of the section for 10-20 hours, which affects the overall production of copper concentrate. The crushing department processes an average of 700 tons of ore per hour. When the belt ruptures, the damage can reach a length of 12 to more than 600 meters. Considering that 1 meter of conveyor belt costs 1,600,000 soums, then as a result of one incident, the damage can amount to 998,400,000 soums.

Currently, these sensors are manufactured at the factory itself. The cost of manufacturing one such device is 1,665,000 sums.

And there are many such innovative proposals at the factory.

For reference: today the factory has 84 conveyors and 7,634 meters of conveyor belts. According to the project proposed by Timur Inatov, one sensor was installed as an experiment. And the positive result was not long in coming. It is planned that in the near future these sensors will be installed on all conveyors of the enterprise.
