In the Address of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan on December 20, 2022, as well as during the videoconference meeting held on January 10, a number of tasks were identified.

To fulfill these tasks in this direction, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine has already begun practical work on organizing the training and retraining of engineering personnel.

On May 23, a special commission organized an interview for the admission of students to the engineering school, during which candidates were selected in the areas of metallurgy, industrial automation and mechanics.

It should be noted that during the training period, the average monthly salary of employees is maintained.

In this school, training will be conducted in the following educational areas: geology, mine surveying, mining, concentrating, metallurgy, mechanics, energy, mining transport, automation.

In this school, teaching will be conducted on the basis of modern pedagogical technologies with an emphasis on practice (40/60). Retraining will be carried out within 6-10 months, and one training course will be attended by 150 students. The engineering school will train highly qualified specialists in the field of mining and metallurgical industry. It should be noted that the classes will be conducted by foreign teachers.

Upon completion of the training, students will be assigned to the appropriate positions in their specialty.
