Contracts were signed between Almalyk MMC JSC and a number of companies and banks at the 2nd Economic Forum of Uzbekistan on the theme "Turning human interests into the main content of economic reforms" which is currently taking place in the city of Samarkand.

In particular, a cooperation agreement was signed with the German bank Helaba.

This document covers the contracts concluded between "Almalyk MMC" JSC and Metso Outotec for the provision of engineering services and equipment delivery for the construction of sulfuric acid shop No 6 at the Zinc plant under the German export insurance agency "Euler Nermes" was established in order to provide financing.

The amount of the signed deal is 67.3 mln. 13 years with a grace period of 3 years.

Also, a cooperation agreement was signed between AMMC and the German BASF concern at the forum.

This document was signed in order to purchase "04-111 Cc11x4 and 04-110 Cc11x4" vanadium catalysts manufactured by the German BASF concern, which meet modern requirements, and the total amount is 998,042.40 euros.

In addition, a memorandum of cooperation between AMMC and Finnish Metso Outotec was signed at the forum.

This memorandum was drawn up in order to implement the main engineering works for the construction of a new metallurgical complex on the basis of AMMC.

Also, a memorandum was signed between AMMC, AMMC - "Deutsche Innovation" joint venture and the German company "Menzel" at the forum.

According to this document, a project on the production of medium and high voltage electric motors and generators will be implemented in the city of Chirchik.

At the forum, a memorandum was signed with the German company TAKRAF on the delivery of equipment to the "Yoshlik-1" mine.

Within the framework of the forum, cooperation negotiations were held with the management of AMMC and representatives of Trafigure PTE Ltd, Glencore International AG, Eurasian Machinery dealer organization, which supplies Hitachi company's equipment.

Cooperation meetings were also held with managers and representatives of banks such as Landesbank HessenThiiringen Girozentrale, KfW, Coommerzbank, Barclays, Natixis, JP Morgan Chase.

This amount will be used to finance the purchase of high-quality technological equipment imported from Germany for the Complex.
