Last week, a number of structural divisions of the plant held sports competitions dedicated to the 75^th anniversary of the foundation of AMMC.

In particular, the arm wrestling competition was held among the workers of the copper smelting plant. According to the results of the competition in the 75 kg weight category, the top three were Zohid Kushmatov (power supply shop), Maruf Abdurazzakov (metallurgical shop), Fakhriddin Abdukarimov (sulfuric acid shop). In the category up to 90 kg – Odiljon Umarov (copper electrolysis shop), Kudrat Kurbonnazarov (power supply shop), Berdiali Najmiddinov (rare metals production shop). In the 90+ category, the top three are Farrukh Norinov (enamel wire production shop), Jonibek Tulaganov and Jakhongir Mamadaliev (sulfuric acid shop).

The Motor Transport Department held a streetball championship. According to the results of the competition, in which teams consisting of working women from MTD units took part, the representatives of the housekeeping and repair department won. The second place was taken by the team of the motor transport depot No. 1, and the management team took third place.

The Department of Social Facilities also held a competition in the sam   e sport. In the competition, in which 11 teams took part, the health resort team won. The second place was taken by a team consisting of workers of children's health organizations Nos. 18 and 39. Third place went to the team of preschool educational institution No. 35.

A badminton tournament was held among the employees of the Technological Transport Department. The team from transport shop No. 4 became the winner, and the second and third places were taken by the teams from the mining mechanization workshop and the technological transport repair shop.

A volleyball championship was held among the staff of the Specialized Repair Works Department. The places were distributed as follows: first place – the team of department No. 3, second place - representatives of department No. 1, third place – the team of department No. 4.

A darts competition was held among the employees of the Central Analytical Laboratory, which resulted in I. Solikulov, S. Suyunov, and S. Shokhnazarov being in the top three.

The Power Grid Department held a chess competition. The best in the intellectual game was an employee of the power repair shop, Munir Matazimov. The second place winner was the representative of the central electrical engineering laboratory, Vyacheslav Pak, and the honorable third place went to another employee of the power repair shop, Nuriddin Kholmatov.

The team of Copper Concentrating Plant-3 competed in table tennis. Thus, the victory was won by the power engineer of the tailings storage shop, Rustam Rasulov. The second and third places were taken by the head of the grinding and gravitational enrichment department of the grinding and flotation shop, Tohir Ergashev, and the conveyor operator of the crushing shop, Abdurakhmon Kuriev.

A mini-football tournament was held at the Central Mechanical Repair Plant, in which engineering and technical workers took part.

The winner of the tournament was the team from the mechanical assembly shop. Second place was taken by the team of the workshop for repairing special equipment and vehicles. The third place winner was the team from the forging and welding shop.

All winners and prize-winning workers were awarded memorable gifts from the Council of the Trade Union of AMMC Workers.
