For the period from January to November of this year, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex exported manufactured products for a total of 578,796,000 US dollars, fulfilling the forecast task in this direction by 115.4%.
In particular, during the reporting period, 49,698 tons of copper products and 27,134 tons of zinc products were exported to foreign consumers.
The forecast indicators for the export of cadmium, copper sulfate, rhenium, palladium powder, molybdenum products, and lead concentrate have also been fulfilled.
It is worth reminding that the AMMC workforce was tasked to export products for amount of USD 550.0 million in 2024. In the middle of last month, this target was met ahead of schedule.
It is worth noting that the geography of exports is expanding from year to year. Currently, the products of the Complex are exported to 19 countries. Foreign partners are mainly supplied with copper, zinc, molybdenum, rhenium, lead concentrate, cadmium, and palladium powder.
In 2024, new product sales markets were developed. In particular, starting this year, copper rod and copper sulfate from AMMC are exported to countries such as Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Morocco, and Portugal.
Today, the issue of producing products with high added value from raw materials in our country has been raised to the level of state policy. Due to the rapid development of production in this area, the demand for copper in the domestic market of the country is increasing day by day. That is why great attention is paid to this issue at AMMC. New enterprises are being created as part of the development of the copper cluster.
