Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, fulfilled its annual forecast task for the export of manufactured products ahead of schedule.
This year, the AMMC workforce was tasked with exporting products worth 550.0 million US dollars. On November 15, 2024, the Complex specialists reported on the successful completion of this task.
It is worth noting that the geography of exports is expanding from year to year. Currently, the products of the Complex are exported to 19 countries. Foreign partners are mainly supplied with copper, zinc, molybdenum, rhenium, lead concentrate, cadmium, and palladium powder.
In 2024, new product sales markets were developed. In particular, starting this year, copper rod and copper sulfate from AMMC are exported to countries such as Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Morocco, and Portugal.
Today, the issue of producing products with high added value from raw materials in our country has been raised to the level of state policy. Due to the rapid development of production in this area, the demand for copper in the domestic market of the country is increasing day by day. That is why great attention is paid to this issue at AMMC. New enterprises are being created as part of the development of the copper cluster.
