Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex pays special attention to the development of information and communication technologies and digitalization.

As part of AMMC digital transformation, more than 40 different projects have been scheduled for implementation in 2023. 23 of them have already been implemented and 5 pilot projects have already been launched.

The gradual digitalization of the production process, in turn, creates a great need for qualified personnel in the IT field.

Work already begun in this direction. In particular, it is planned to establish an IT-center at the Complex in the future. Recently, the Deputy Digitalization Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” , Deputy Head of the Republican Directorate of “IT-Park” Abdulakhad Kuchkorov and responsible persons of the Complex Training Center haму considered project of the IT-Center establishment at AMMC, and discussed the issues of organization and adjustment of its activity.

This center, which is planned to be organized on the territory of the School of Engineering, will train IT specialists. It will also be place to create promising startups and software.
