On December 10-11 of this year, the 3^rd international congress and exhibition “Uzbekistan and the Mining Industry of Central Asia” was held in Tashkent.

The international event is attended by heads of leading enterprises of the mining industry of Uzbekistan and Central Asia, initiators of investment projects, representatives of regulatory and supervisory authorities of the industry, manufacturers, suppliers of equipment and services, engineering, construction and design companies.

Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology U. Yusupov opened the congress with an opening speech. Current issues in the industry were discussed at plenary sessions.

At the congress, representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Geology, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC, Uzbek Technological Metals Plant JSC and Navoiyuran State Enterprise made presentations and reports on current topics.

The responsible persons of “Almalyk MMC” JSC also took part in this event with presentations and reports.
