On November 14-18 of this year, the Republican inter-sectoral industrial fair was held at the "Uzekspomarkaz" national exhibition complex.

The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex also participated in the industrial fair, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city administration and the Digital Transformation Center.

944 enterprises exhibited 9350 products at this major event, which was organized in order to gather local manufacturers on one platform, to create conditions for mutual exchange of ideas and experience.

This fair is aimed at further expanding production cooperation between large industrial organizations of the republic and local industrial enterprises.

Import substitute products purchased by large industry enterprises were also exhibited at the fair. This, in turn, allows local industrial enterprises to expand the scope of their activities at the expense of the production of imported goods, to develop new business ideas to increase the type of competitive industrial products.

At the fair, AMMC presented more than 500 types of imported products, including chemical products, explosives, rolled metal, ferroalloys and others. Also, more than 150 types of products produced by the Complex, including copper and zinc products, cement, phosphorite products, sulfuric acid, rare metals and hard alloys were exhibited.

At the industrial fair, a presentation of products manufactured by AMMC was held, and a catalog of more than 2,500 imported products to be produced in our country was distributed.

The participants and guests of the event got acquainted with the new projects being implemented in the Republic for the development of new products. In particular, the joint enterprise "AGMK-KOMA-HANKOOK" established with the Korean state, which produces metal processing equipment, and the joint enterprise "AGMK-ABM-ME- SOLUTIONS GP" established with Germany, which produces metal recycling centers, were introduced.

Also, at the fair, "Casting-Mechanical Plant" LLC, which produces 74 types of casting products for railway transport, "Almalyk Casting" on mastering the production of castings for equipment with an annual production volume of 250 billion soums "Mechanical plant" LLC was also shown to the participants.

Also, the new "Machinery Plant" project, which is being built as part of the "Yoshlik-1 investment project" and produces mills, pumps, sieves, hydrocyclones and spare parts for mills, excavators and crushers, was introduced at the fair.

As a result of negotiations with local producers at this industrial fair of AMMC, contracts worth 426 billion soums were signed for the purchase and sale of products. From this, contracts for 342 billion soums were concluded through the cooperation portal.

Contracts worth 84 billion soums were signed on the sale of finished products through the Republican Commodity Exchange.

It is worth noting that contracts worth 1,142.2 billion soums have been signed for production needs through the cooperation portal of AMMC since the beginning of this year.

Holding inter-industry fairs is important not only for large industrial enterprises, but also for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and business entities.
