The new mechanism makes it easier for employees to submit their proposals

02 September 2025, 16:15 1184

Increasing operational efficiency is one of the main priority areas of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) JSC, ensuring the enterprise’s economic stability, effective use of resources, and sustainable development through the improvement of production processes. This process contributes to reducing production costs, increasing energy and raw material efficiency, as well as improving technological and organizational efficiency, thereby strengthening the complex’s position in the global market.

A new mechanism has been introduced at the complex in this important direction. With this mechanism, employees can submit proposals to contribute to increasing operational efficiency and are financially incentivized for their participation.

Employees can submit proposals in key areas such as mining, beneficiation, metallurgy, energy, mechanics, transport, construction, digitalization, fuel and raw material savings, productivity improvement, labor conditions, and waste recycling.

Advantages of the New Mechanism: Unlike other similar systems, this mechanism provides maximum convenience for the author in developing the proposal and ensures that all employees involved in implementing the proposal are incentivized.

How does the process work?

The submission, review, and implementation of proposals to increase operational efficiency consist of four stages:

  1. Proposal Development (Stage 1): Employees submit their proposals via the Telegram app using @agmk_bot. A working group established within the structural division reviews the proposals, selects promising ones, and assigns a team to prepare the project documentation.
  2. Project Documentation Development (Stage 2): The project team prepares technical and economic calculations, plans, timelines, risk analyses, and a pilot project plan. The Operational Efficiency Management and Coordination Committee reviews the documents and decides whether to move to the next stage. The author of the approved proposal is awarded 1 BCA (base calculation amount).
  3. Pilot Project Implementation (Stage 3): If necessary, the pilot project is implemented according to the plan, a report is prepared, and the Committee decides on advancing to full implementation.
  4. Project Implementation (Stage 4): The main project is executed according to the plan, monitored, and rewards are distributed.

Incentives
Once the proposal is implemented, up to 10% of the annual profit generated is allocated as a total incentive. Of this amount, 60% is awarded to the proposal’s author, and 40% is distributed among the other participants involved.

All employees of the complex are invited to contribute to increasing operational efficiency!
